Mission Statement

For my blogging assignment I have decided to do a hip-hop blog. Not many people are aware of the vast majority of hip-hop music out there just waiting to reach the masses. Music is a major part of my life and something I am very passionate about. Although I am a marketing major, and this blog might not necessarily coincide with my career option, the idea of conceiving my own personal blog dedicated to hip-hop music was something I could not pass up. Being a hip-hop enthusiast, I have encountered people with a wide spectrum of preferences. By starting this blog, I hope to give people a look into my thought process, why I might be fond of something, dislike it, hate it, love it, and so forth. I'm hoping that I could change some people's perception of hip-hop, whether they were fans to begin with, have been turned off by recent hip-hop, or just have never been able to get into it. In the recent years, hip-hop has not been what it was, and the longing for hip-hop from the golden age is stronger than ever. Don't fret, it's still out there.
